Today, I met two friends of mine: Flo and Isabelle. It was a sunny day. We drunk drank wine, talked about life and about our relationships with men. We have different projects: Flo wants to complete a doctorat in sociology at UQAM, Isabelle wants to found find a work she likes and me, I just want to complete my studies for being a elementary teacher. I received a letter last week for invite inviting me at to the university next week. I must choose my courses. I'm so happy. ;-)
I read a beautiful an excellent book called Se résoudre aux adieux. Sometimes I have difficulties to accept the fact that the man I love leaves left me. The book tells the story of a woman who had love loves a man very much. When he leaves her for another woman she decides to travel all around the world. She don't doesn't want remember the places where they're going together.
I'm sure I made a lot of mistakes. I'm in my brother's house and I don't have time to correct my mistakes.
I hope you have a great day,
Little miss Sunshine

Félicitations, Mélanie! Est-ce que tu vas commencer tes études en Septembre? À quelle université est-ce que tu vas étudier? Je pense que tu seras une très bonne enseignante!
Congratulations, Mélanie! That's exciting news. Will you be studying at UQAM too?
I'm just about done my thesis. I've grown a little tired of academia now, but going back to university was a good decision. :-)
Here are some small corrections:
* We drank wine, talked about life...
"Drunk" is the past participle, "drank" is a simple past conjugation.
* Isabelle wants to find work she likes and I just want...
* I received a letter last week inviting me to the university next week.
In English, we call these "acceptance letters." Congratulations again!
* I read an excellent book called Se Résoudre Aux Adieux
"Beautiful" is normally reserved for things that look nice. There are exceptions, of course; the weather can be beautiful, a wedding can be beautiful, but unless there are jewels and gold trim along the spine, books are normally "good," "wonderful," "excellent," or some other adjective. :-)
* ...that the man I love left me.
(Heartbreak is a terrible feeling, but I know you're a strong, capable person with a great personality. True love is waiting for you somewhere!)
* ...of a woman who loves a man very much.
* She doesn't want to remember the places where they had gone together.
"She" is third-person singular, so "don't" needs to be conjugated as "doesn't". Since "remember" is the second verb, it has to be conjugated in the infinitive. "Had gone" is conjugated in the pluperfect because it's a continuing action that has now stopped. Complicated stuff, no? :-)
That's it! Have a great day!
